A man shot to death by his mother during an argument outside their Brooklyn home, who choked to arriving cops and said, “My mom shot me, I’m dying” — has now succumbed to his injuries, police said Tuesday.

Christopher Jenkins, 28, got into an argument with his 44-year-old mother, Vanessa Jenkins, outside their Crown Heights home around 9:50 p.m. Oct. 12, when the woman pulled out a handgun and shot her son twice in the head. , according to cops and a criminal complaint.

When police showed up at the scene, the injured man cried, “My mom shot me, I’m dying,” the complaint states, citing a lieutenant’s body-camera footage.

He was taken to Kings County Hospital Center in critical condition and kept on life support until he succumbed to his injuries on Oct. 24, police and the complaint said.

Authorities ruled his death a homicide.

Vanessa Jenkins was initially arrested a day after the shooting and charged with attempted murder, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm.

She was ordered held on $500,000 cash bail or $1 million bond, the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office said.

A spokeswoman for the DA’s office said she could not comment Tuesday on whether the charges against the mother would be upgraded because her son had died because that would be handled by a grand jury.
