Man seriously injured in Oshawa shooting, witnesses sought | Media Pyro

Durham Regional Police are looking to speak with witnesses after a man was seriously injured in a shooting in Oshawa Sunday night.

At approximately 11:50 p.m., officers were dispatched to Whiskey John’s restaurant at the intersection of King Street West and Thornton Road South for a report of an armed man inside the establishment, police said.

A man was found at the scene with a gunshot wound, police said.

The victim was taken to a trauma center with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

His age has not been released.

Police said no suspect information was available and investigators were looking to interview any witnesses who were in the area at the time.

Also, anyone with cellphone or dashcam video of the incident is asked to come forward.
