Savannah, Ga. (WTOC) – A manager of a City Market business is still safe after a shooting Sunday morning.

Savannah Police say the shooting happened in the City Market area.

The manager of America’s Prohibition Museum says he was shocked to hear about this latest shooting at City Market.

“They do what they can, but you can’t stop all gun violence. You can’t stop all fights.

Police say a fight on Sunday led to the shooting near Jefferson and West St. Julian Sts., around 1:45 a.m., as people were out and about at City Market today.

Joshua Bowser, 27, was arrested and is now facing charges of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a felon, obstruction and possession of marijuana. A 26-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were injured.

Police say Bowser was involved in an argument with the male victim before the shooting.

The shooting took place just feet away from the American Prohibition Museum.

When gun violence manager Ashley Harris was apprehended by gardaí, she said she had no further security concerns as there were extra safety protocols in place in the area.

“They put a lot of things in place with brighter lights and more police patrols. I don’t think it’s that much of a concern,” Ashley Harris said.

Although they have been arrested in this shooting, the investigation is ongoing.
