Teenager arrested in fatal shooting at Olmsted Homes | Media Pyro

Augusta, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Richmond County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a suspect in last month’s fatal shooting at Olmsted Homes.

The shooting was reported around 9:20 p.m. Oct. 15 in the 2100 block of B Street.

When deputies arrived on scene, they found a male victim of a gunshot wound.

According to the Richmond County Coroner’s Office, the victim was 22-year-old Can Michael Bowie.

Darius Antonio Redd Jr., 17, was arrested Oct. 29 and booked into the Richmond County Jail on charges including murder.

Other charges include possession with intent to distribute, possession of a pistol or revolver by a person under 18, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a crime, theft by receiving stolen property, fleeing/eluding, and aggravated assault.
