Calgary police are investigating after a teenager was shot Sunday evening in the southeast community of Southview.

An 18-year-old man was shot in the leg after the shooting near 22nd Avenue and 27th Street SE just before 6 p.m., police said.

The young man was admitted to the hospital in non-life threatening condition. The second person was also admitted to the hospital with minor injuries.

A white Jeep SUV marked with police tape can be seen with its windows completely blown out and damage to the front passenger side of the vehicle.

Investigators said a suspect vehicle fled the scene and police are looking for a white or light gray sedan.

That’s Calgary’s 106th shooting this year.
