Reading, Pa. – Two men face charges of first- and third-degree murder in the fatal shooting of a Pottstown man in Reading over the weekend.

RPD investigators identified them Wednesday as 24-year-old Mark Lockman and Jaber Hill.

Lockman is already in custody; The hill is still wide.

The charges, including assault and possession of a prohibited firearm, stem from the slaying of Jefferson Etienne in the 400 block of South 15th Street early Saturday morning, police said.

Etienne, 38, later died at Reading Hospital.

Lockman was also injured in the firing. He was taken into custody after treatment and booked into the Berks County Jail without bail.
