Kent County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the shooting | Media Pyro

KENT COUNTY, MI – Kent County Sheriff’s deputies are on the scene of a shooting in Gaines Township, Wednesday, November 9th.

Police said one person was injured.

The shooting happened in the 6100 block of Cran Avenue SE, south of 60th Street, police said. Sheriff’s deputies reported shots fired around 6 a.m. While responding to the scene, police learned a 27-year-old man had already been hospitalized with a gunshot wound.

The police informed that his condition is satisfactory.

No one was home when police arrived. Witnesses said multiple shots were fired.

“Investigators are still working to determine the descriptions of those involved, but do not believe there is a public threat at this time,” Sgt. Eric Brunner said in a statement.
