Mobile, Ala. (WALA) – The Mobile Police Department is investigating two shootings that happened Monday night in West Mobile.
According to reports, the shooting happened within a few blocks of each other. One of them resulted in murder.
We now understand that one officer was injured in that shooting. Police told FOX10 News that the officer’s injuries were not life-threatening.
We’re told the killing happened on Bryant Street near Zeigler Boulevard around 7 p.m. That’s in the Glen Acres community, where officers set up crime scene tape near a home.
A few hours later, around 11:30 p.m., a shooting was reported on Crowell Street.
