Waterloo Region residents may get another chance to see Richard Gere on Monday when his movie comes to Kitchener.
“Upcoming Richard Gere Film”longing for”Filming will take place early next week in downtown Kitchener. Filming will begin on Monday, Oct. 31 between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m.,” the City of Kitchener said in a news release.
Residents and businesses will experience frequent traffic delays for filming in the King Street East and Queen Street South areas, the city said.
Gere made waves with fans when they saw the shoot this week longing for Wednesday in the Galt area of Cambridge.

Fans could be seen waiting in the cold, drizzling rain in anticipation to catch a glimpse of the Pretty Woman star.
It’s unclear if Gear will be present during filming in Kitchener.
According to the Internet Movie Database (IMDb), the film explores the story of a wealthy bachelor in the 60s who discovers that his Canadian ex-girlfriend gave birth to a son he never knew existed 20 years ago and that the child is dead.
“As he explores the life of his dead son and gets to know him through those closest to him, Daniel is forced to evaluate the life choices that led him to this turning point,” the database says.
The film began shooting on September 24 and will wrap on October 31, according to the Directors Guild of Canada.
