The Assam government distributed promise letters to 11,236 youths in 24 divisions of the state in a function held at the sports ground of the veterinary college in Khanapara on Friday.

According to the official statement, 5,335 appointment letters have been distributed to the posts of the Home Department, 27 in the Higher Education and Technical Department, 3811 in the School Education Department, 277 in the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, 299 in the Health and Family Welfare Department while the rest of the positions are filled in several other departments.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted this news and wrote, “As part of our commitment to provide employment to 1 million youth in our state, we have distributed commitment letters to 11,236 workers. in 24 depts, we have implemented all the recruitment process based on merit and transparency. I look forward to all the new positions.

In another tweet, the Assam CM wrote, “Recruitment process for filling 26,000 Class III & IV posts has already started. Advertisement for 10,000 more will be published soon & steps will be taken for self-employment of 2 lakh youth. Urge the new employees to work hard and contribute to the fight against corruption.”

Talking about the progress of his 1 Lakh job pledge, Sarma said that the current government has fairly and efficiently employed around 27,000 youth in the last 18 months, sharing reports that 10,000 positions are being filled. The various departments of the state government will soon start urging students to start preparing for the recruitment process.

He further said that the recruitment of 26,000 posts in the 3rd and 4th grades in the state is going smoothly, and the state administration has decided to establish new forest forces. writing.

The state government employed 4,779 candidates in the first year of its tenure while in the second year it issued appointment letters to 22,958 candidates from 11 departments in the state.

He further said that the government wants to send a message to the people who want to create a bad environment, and the time of bad thinking in Assam is over.

The governor added that people involved in politics often forget the promises they made during the elections later. On the contrary, the present State Government is standing day and night to fulfill its promise.

Urging the youths who were presented with letters about humanity preventing corruption, he said they should serve with integrity and contribute to strengthening the working culture of the government.

He suggested the employed youths to give gifts to their parents as a part of their salary in the first month, give to the places of worship like Namgar where they study in the second month and give to the schools where they studied with the help of their third month. – The monthly salary by asking the youth selected from the police department to sympathize with the community.
