Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting following a road rage incident in Dover this morning.

On November 8, 2022, at approximately 11:48 am, troopers began investigating a shooting that occurred on Seven Hickories Road at Branford Road. Investigators learned the 34-year-old male victim was shot while sitting in his vehicle after a road rage incident. The victim was rushed to an area hospital by an acquaintance, where he is being treated for his injuries. No other subjects were injured.

There is currently no suspect information available. The Delaware State Police Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate this case. Anyone who witnessed this incident is asked to call Detective J. The troopers demand that Sidner be contacted.
