How to clear Apple Maps history on iPhone and iPad

Apple offers several different ways to clear recent routes on Maps. Here’s the easiest way:

  • Open Apple Mapsthen scroll down until you see The last ones section.
  • Swipe the route you want to remove from Apple Maps to the left until you see Remove.
  • touch Remove.
  • If you want to delete a favorite place, go to selected section, then tap more. Swipe left on favourite location you want to delete, then tap Delete.

This is it. Now the places you don’t want to show in Apple Maps are gone.

How to clear Maps history on Mac

  • Open it Apple Maps on your Mac, then go to The last ones on the sidebar.
  • Lower The last onespress Clear the last ones.
  • If you want to delete the selected location, click Ctrl + click location (in the sidebar under Favorites), and then select Remove from favorites.
