Private madrasas in Assam have been asked to submit all information about their institutions to the state government by December 1 this year.
The madrasa must submit all the information, including the location of the institution, details of teachers etc. The Department of Higher Education of the state government on December 1 through the institutions they work under.
The December 1 deadline was set for Wednesday during a meeting at the Assam Police Headquarters.
“The arrest works are going on where the information of all the private madrasas will be uploaded and will be started soon,” said Rajib Saikia, CPRO of Assam Police.
