Mizoram home department joint secretary Lalthiamsanga Sailo told PTI that the third round of ministerial level talks will be held at 11 am on Thursday.
Official level talks between the two regions will be held at 5 pm on Wednesday a day before the ministerial level talks, he said.
Apart from Lalchamliana, land tax and settlement minister Lalruatkima will also participate in the ministerial level speech, another home department official said.
The Mizoram delegation will also include chairman and home secretary H Lalengmawia and two other senior officials of the home department, he said.
The Assam delegation is likely to be led by Border Development and Environment Protection Minister Atul Bora, according to highly informed sources. Mizoram and Assam, which share a border of 164.6 km, have a long-standing border dispute, which mainly stems from two colonial demarcations in 1875 and 1933. , Assam accepted the map prepared by the Survey of India in 1933 as the constitutional boundary.
