Houston – A man has been charged with shooting a driver in the arm during a road rage incident in northwest Harris County, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said.

Daniel Rosales Robledo, 32, has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault, Gonzalez said.

The incident began on Senate Avenue near Beltway 8 when deputies received a 911 call just after 1 p.m. from a man who said he had been shot by someone in another vehicle.

At some point, Gonzalez said, the suspect, Rosales Robledo, fired multiple shots at his gun, ending up shooting off his driver’s arm. Deputies said the driver was Rosales Robledo’s brother.

The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

Deputies were able to apprehend the suspect vehicle in the 5000 block of Kleinbrook Drive. That’s when I got to know about the road rage shooting.

Rosales took Robledo into custody and the brother was taken to the hospital, where he was fine.
