Lawyer Nujoud Qassem said that the search and seizure of cell phones from male and female students in schools without returning them is illegal. “Confiscating phones from students if they are used during school hours is illegal. Lawyer Ashraf Al-Sarraj said that the confiscation of cell phones from students that are used during school hours is a serious violation on the part of school authorities. Al-Sarraj urged parents to file complaints with the Ministry of Education against the school if such violations occur.
