DALEVILLE, Ala. (WTVY) – Daleville police are investigating a shooting that sent a juvenile to the hospital early Sunday morning.

According to a statement from Daleville Police, the department was notified around midnight on Oct. 30 of a shooting in the 300 block of Daleville Avenue.

When police arrived at the scene, they found several vehicles with gunshot wounds, a local business and a 17-year-old boy with three gunshot wounds. The juvenile was taken to Southeast Health in Dothan and then transported to UAB after being stabilized.

Assistance from Level Plains Police, Clayhatchee Police, Houston County Sheriff’s Office, Dale County Sheriff’s Office, Dothan Police and ALEA’s SBI is still under investigation at this time.

No suspects have been identified at this time, but anyone with information is asked to contact Daleville police at (334) 598-4442.
