Cattle of Burmese origin were caught in Cachar | Media Pyro

Guwahati: The police forces of Cachar district in Dholay area have seized a truck that was carrying cattle originating from Burma.

According to reports, the vehicle was seized by the police based on specific information about the illegal transportation of cattle.

When they searched the vehicle, the police found eight cows of Burmese origin.

A news source who spoke about the capture of these animals said that the cattle are suspected to have been brought from Myanmar, passed through Mizoram, and headed for Bangladesh.

The news added that the cow is estimated at 25 million dollars in the international market.
