“I don’t want to read too much into it,” he said. “I like the shots he takes. I love the shots he takes. He didn’t shoot the ball very well.
When asked if Caruso had tweaked anything with his mechanic, Donovan didn’t think so.
“I know he’s worked hard and he’s been putting in the time,” Donovan said. “He’s been shooting before practice and after practice, so he’s got some good looks and we’ve got to continue to encourage him to take those shots when they’re out there.”
Fortunately for the Bulls, Caruso has a history of streaking throughout his career. He shot 41.2% from the field and 33.3% from three-point range in the 2019-20 season with the Lakers, but returned the following season to shoot 43.6% and 40.1%, respectively.
Drummond isn’t that fast
