Mumbai: CM Eknath Shinde is expected to meet Assam Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi and Assam DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta during his team’s upcoming visit to the state. In June, Shinde visited Kamakhya Devi temple with several councilors. “I performed darshan of Ma Kamakhya Devi today to seek peace, and prosperity for Maharashtra and its people. Apart from opposition Sena MPs, 10 independent MLAs traveled with Shinde’s team from Mumbai to Surat to Guwahati and then to Goa and finally returned to Mumbai.
“A special pooja is also planned at the Kamakhya Devi temple during this tour. All Shinde team MPs will also go on a visit to Ayodhya along with CM Shinde. Before the visit to Ayodhya, Shinde will go to Guwahati. For these two religious places, he will have darshan with his MLAs. Last time all MLAs could not have darshan but this time all 39 MLAs along with CM will visit Kamakhya Devi temple and thank them, because her blessings are the reason why the government build Maharashtra.
