A man died in a drive-by shooting Saturday in Minneapolis’ 74th homicide of the year | Media Pyro

A man who was shot in a drive-by shooting in the 4700 block of Lindale Avenue North died Saturday at a hospital, according to Minneapolis police.

When officers responded to the shooting around 11:40 a.m. Saturday, they learned that bystanders had already begun CPR on a man who had been shot multiple times.

First responders intervened before taking the man to the hospital, where he died.

Police say this is the 74th death investigated as a homicide in Minneapolis this year.

The initial information of the police is that he was in his vehicle when the second vehicle arrived. The suspect or suspects fired several shots from the second vehicle before fleeing.
