Arunachal Pradesh bagged two gold medals in women’s weightlifting today, with Balo Yalam and Posen Kongkang winning their respective categories. Assam and Manipur won the other gold medals on offer.
In the U-49kg, Bornali Bora of Assam won the gold medal with a clean and jerk of 71kg and 95kg with a total weight of 166kg.
The silver medal was awarded to Kh Roshibina Devi from Manipur for lifting 63kg and 85kg for a total of 148kg while the bronze medal went to Techi Nadam from Arunachal Pradesh for lifting 59kg and 82kg for a total of 141kg. .
U-55kg, gold went to Ph Ranibala Devi from Manipur (he lifted 84kg, C&J 100kg, total 184kg), silver went to Boni Mangkhya from Arunachal Pradesh (he lifted 75kg, C&J 94kg, total 169kg to Lbronze) from Manipur (ex 74kg, C&J 92kg, total 166kg).
