ROCK HILL, S.C. — Three 14-year-olds and a 15-year-old have been charged with murder in the shooting death of a 38-year-old Rock Hill man last night, police said.
Officers went to an apartment on Paces River Avenue off Celanese Road near the Catawba River just after 12 a.m. Monday.
Police said they were called to reports of shots fired and when they arrived they found a man inside an apartment who had been shot multiple times. Investigators said he was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The juvenile was angry at (a) discipline that occurred in the morning,” police said. They shot the man with an illegally obtained gun and left the scene.
The four juveniles were later taken into custody at Rock Hill Law Center and charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
The gun was found in the forest.
The names of the children have not been released due to their ages. His name has not been released.
Police have not said if he knows the children.

The investigation is ongoing and no further information has been released.
