Kansas City, Mo. – One person was killed in a shooting at 12:16 a.m. Sunday in Kansas City, Kansas.
The Kansas City Police Department responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Burger Avenue, Kansas.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a victim with a life-threatening gunshot wound, they said.
Police said the injured man was taken to an area hospital where he later died.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department is investigating the shooting.
