Omaha, Neb. (WOWT) – Omaha police Monday released the names of the people injured in an early morning shooting over the weekend.

Carly Wood, 20, was killed in the shooting at 33rd Street and Ames Avenue at 4:08 a.m. Sunday. The OPD Homicide Unit is investigating.

Seven people, including two 25-year-olds, a 27-year-old, a 28-year-old, a 31-year-old, a 32-year-old and a 34-year-old, were injured in the firing. -old.

Officers responding to the shooting found two people at the scene with gunshot wounds, including Wood, according to police reports. They were taken to a hospital, where Wood died. Others reached the hospital in private vehicles.
