Man charged with criminal homicide after shooting on Pine Mountain Road | Media Pyro

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – An 18-year-old man from Clarksville has been charged following a shooting on Pine Mountain Road that left a 19-year-old man dead.

On Tuesday at 12:36 p.m., police responded to Pine Mountain Road and Woodbridge Drive for a shooting that had already taken place.

While officers were on scene at Pine Mountain, a vehicle arrived at Tenova Healthcare with a gunshot victim and was flown to Nashville by a Life-Flight helicopter. Emanuel Allen Jr., 19, of Nashville, died of his injuries. Next of kin notifications have been given.

Detectives with the Clarksville Police Department Special Operations Homicide Unit arrested William Jamal Brown, 18, of Clarksville and charged him with criminal homicide. A 15-year-old boy is currently in custody and no further charges have been laid.

According to CPD spokesman Scott Beaubien, it was not a random act as the occupants of both vehicles knew each other.

One of the vehicles involved in the shooting on Pine Mountain Road was a blue Nissan Versa with a spare tire donut on the right side of the vehicle. The vehicle was found and seized yesterday evening. Detectives are asking anyone in the area to review their video security cameras and see if their system captures images of this vehicle by November 15 at 12:36 p.m.

Police said this is still an ongoing investigation and no other information is available to release at this time.
