Chris Murray scored a career-high 29 points and Philip Rebraka added 10 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks as Iowa beat Seton Hall 83-67 on Wednesday night at the Prudential Center in the Gavit Tipoff Games between the Big Ten and the Big East.
Dre Davis scored 13 points to lead Seton Hall (2-1). Kadari Richmond and Jameer Harris each added 11 for the Pirates, who shot just 35.8 percent from the field and turned the ball over 16 times.

Rebracca blocked a shot at the halftime buzzer to give Iowa a 34-22 lead. The Hokies shot just 33.3 percent from the field in the first half, but their defense held Seton Hall to 20 percent shooting with 11 turnovers.
Murray also grabbed 11 rebounds for his second career double-double. Tony Perkins had 18 points with five assists and McCaffery finished with 11 points for the Hawkeyes (3-0).
