Orlando, Fla. – Police say one senior is dead and two others were injured in a shooting in the parking lot of Jones High School during Saturday night’s football game.
The Orlando Police Department said its officers were working extra duty for the Jones High vs. Wekiwa High football game. Four juvenile suspects have been taken into custody, one of whom has been found in possession of a firearm.
“We believe we have a suspect in custody. At this time, we do not know his connection to these two schools. This is an ongoing investigation,” OPD said in a statement.
Police said there is currently no threat to the public.
